Schedule
Our activities are chosen with a definite purpose. Our schedule is flexible and only serves as a general framework for our activities. However, the following is a broad outline of how your child would spend his or her time in school.
- 1st Hour. Free play; a time to explore, to participate in group activity, and to use the basic nursery school materials. During this time the teachers will work with individuals giving guidance and support.
- 2nd Hour. Snack/Circle time. Parents take turns and are asked to provide snack for the entire class. During Circle time the children will have Show ‘n Tell, sing songs, play games and read stories.
- Last Half Hour. Outside play – weather permitting. Indoor games when too wet or cold.
Special Happenings
- Music Class. An additional part of our curriculum is our weekly music class. Our music teacher provides the children with extra special music experiences.
- Field Trips. A monthly field trip is an integral part of our nursery school program. Parents are asked to volunteer to help drive to the different locations.
