We have an active and dedicated Mission Committee at the Presbyterian Church of Deep Run that strives to reach out to our community, our region, and the world in Christian love. Our three main sponsorship groups are Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, Calvin Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, and Discovery Service Projects that address national and international concerns. Our sponsorships include our physical presence along with the monetary aid. We encourage and support numerous other mission endeavors of our youth and adults throughout the year. This support may include sending specific items to people in need, collecting donations for selected charities or fielding mission work teams to travel abroad.
We have established an Alternative Giving Program at Christmas and are working towards family friendly fundraising events during the year. A new outreach program to help low income families is being considered also.
Our in house mission is to raise awareness of the abundant blessings that have been bestowed upon our congregation and our nation and to foster grateful hearts. Hearts that willingly share their time, talents and treasure in Jesus’ name. Not only within our church but with the
world at large.
